Isabela Merced To Play Hawkgirl In Superman Legacy
Isabela Merced has joined the cast of James Gunn’s Superman Legacy. The actress will join previously announced David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan, along with Edi Gathegi and Nathan Fillion in this upcoming creation, based on the DC Comics’ character.
In the upcoming film, Isabela will take on the role of the winged warrior, Hawkgirl, but no other details have been announced. Seeing as their are multiple iterations of Hawkgirl, with multiple origins, it will be interesting to see which one Gunn plans to go with for this film.
Love to see Hawkgirl finally get recognized in the movie universe, but am I going to mad if they do not do her justice.
