Shawn Mendes has released a brand new single. The singer unveiled, “WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DYING FOR ?” earlier today, June 9.

Shawn announced the release of his new single yesterday, June 8, much to the surprise of fans. Shawn revealed that he “…started writing this song yesterday morning with my friends in upstate New York & finished it only a few hours ago..felt important to me to share with you guys in real time”.

With the events currently unfolding in his home county of Canada, this only makes sense.
