Anthony Mackie Announces Title Change for New ‘Captain America’ Movie

Anthony Mackie has shared the first behind the scenes photo from the set of the next Captain America movie. Featured alongside his new costar, Harrison Ford, who replaces the late William Hurt as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, the photo may be the first time we have seen the two stars together on set, but that’s not the biggest reveal.

In Mackie’s caption, he announces the movie’s new title. Formerly known as, Captain America: New World Order, the movie is now called, Captain America: Brave New World. This title, in my opinion, is so much better than the original.

The movie will be released to theaters on May 3, 2024. I can only assume the first footage from the new movie will be released at Comic Con this coming July. At least I’m hoping so!
