Could A Gossip Girl Reboot With OG Cast Be On Its Way?
Could another reboot of Gossip Girl be headed our way? Fans of the hit series have begun to speculate that something is in the works for the hit CW series, after the official Instagram account posted a cryptic little message yesterday, May 16.
Featuring a photo of the original cast, the caption read, “Welcome back, Upper East Siders. After a long time away, I see it didn’t take much time for you to dirty up the clean slates I gave you”. The account went on to tag four of the original cast members in the photo, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley.
With MAX giving the axe to the newly released Gossip Girl earlier this year, it wouldn’t be out of the picture to get the original gang back together for another run. It also would be a good push to get more people subscribing to MAX.
Either way, everything is clearly speculation at this point. So, as with all Gossip Girl episodes, we will have to wait and see.
