Neil Patrick Harris Returns as Barney in First Look Photo from How I Met Your Father

Neil Patrick Harris is heading to How I Met Your Father. Hulu has released the first look at Harris, returning as his character Barney, which he originated on the series predecessor, How I Met Your Mother.

The actor is set to appear in the 2-episode mid-season finale, which will stream on Hulu Tuesday, March 28th. The show will then take a mini-break before it will return with new on Tuesday, May 23rd with 1 new episode each Tuesday through the 2-episode season finale on Tuesday, July 11th.
