Saoirse Ronan To Join Steve McQueen’s New Film, Blitz

Saoirse Ronan has landed a new role! The actress is set to star un the upcoming Apple TV+ film, Blitz, from director, Steve McQueen.

According to Variety, “The project tells the stories of a group of Londoners during the aerial bombing of the British capital during the war. McQueen is writing, directing and producing the film, which is expected to begin shooting later this year.”

The site goes on to say, “It’s still unclear what specific role she’ll be playing in Blitz, though it will mark the actor’s first project with the British helmer. Ronan will star alongside an ‘unknown newcomer’ that’s yet to be revealed.”

This is a team up I didn’t know I needed until now.
