Joe Jonas Opens Up About Acting & Writing Music For New Film Devotion

Joe Jonas sat down with Vanity Fair to discuss his new film, Devotion. The actor will be making his featured film debut in this upcoming project while also lending his vocal talents to the film as well.

In this article, Joe opened up about the creative process behind the post credit song, “Not Alone”. He stated, “I had a conversation with our director J.D. [Dillard] and he asked me to take a stab at writing the end credit song. I was honored for the opportunity, so I wanted to put together some incredible collaborators such as Ryan Tedder and Harv along with my good friend Khalid to help bring this song to life. What made this truly special to me was being able to bring my passions of acting and music together for this film. It was a truly special experience to combine the two, which are normally very separate hats for me, and I was honored to do so.”

In the upcoming film, Joe will also be taking on the supporting role of pilot, Marty Goode. Fans will be able to check him out in the film when it opens in theaters in November. For now, they can check out the rest of Joe’s remarks to Vanity Fair here.
