John Boyega Premieres The Women King At TIFF
John Boyega premiered his new film, The Woman King, last night, September 9. The actor looked to be in wonderful spirits as he hit the carpet at the Toronto Inernational Film Festival.
In this new film, “n the 1800s, a group of all-female warriors protects the African kingdom of Dahomey with skills and fierceness unlike anything the world has ever seen. Faced with a new threat, Gen. Nanisca trains the next generation of recruits to fight against a foreign enemy that’s determined to destroy their way of life.”
The Woman King hits theaters on Friday, September 16.
