Celebrate Lightning McQueen Day with New Goodies from Cars on the Road
In honor of Lightning McQueen day, September 5, Disney has released new goodies from its upcoming series, Cars on the Road. Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy return as McQueen and Mater for the new Disney+ series.
The goodies released included the newly released “Cars on the Road” soundtrack; a three-minute clip from Ep. 3, “Salt Fever”; the series’ opening credits sequence and catchy theme song; and brand new images.
The Disney+ Original series follows Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and his best friend Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) as they head east from Radiator Springs on a cross-country road trip to meet up with Mater’s sister.
The series will premiere on on Disney+ Day, this coming Thursday, September 8.
