Joey King Covers The New Issue Of Marie Claire Mexico
Joey King is on the cover of the new issue of Marie Claire Mexico. The young actress is on the cover to promote her new film, The Princess. Highlights from her interview are below.
On how acting has changed for her since entering the business as a child: “Well, I guess the biggest change is that I can read and write and tie my shoes by myself now (laughs). But in all seriousness, the way my career has grown is really amazing. When I was a kid in this industry, my biggest dream was to be in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and that’s a perfect dream for a girl. I feel lucky to still head to work with as much enthusiasm as when I was 4 years old. So whether it’s a show on the Disney channel or two big action movies premiering in the same year, that giddy feeling has never gone away.”
On what makes her happy: “What makes me really happy are the moments that seem mundane but are full of life, like doing everyday chores with my fiancé. Those are the things I think about when one of us is away from the other and I miss him. Things that are really simple but have a lot of meaning and perspective, that’s the best. And as for hobbies, I love to cook and eat in general. Finding good restaurants wherever I am is my hobby.”
