Aretha Franklin Comes to Life in New Stills from RESPECT

In honor of it being 100 days until the release of RESPECT, MGM/United Artists Releasing have released new stills from their Aretha Franklin biopic.

Following the rise of Aretha Franklin’s career from a child singing in her father’s church’s choir to her international superstardom, RESPECT is the remarkable true story of the music icon’s journey to find her voice. Jennifer Hudson will star as Franklin and is joined in the film by Forest Whitaker as C.L. Franklin, Marlon Wayans as Ted White, Audra McDonald as Barbara Franklin, Tituss Burgess as Reverend Dr. James Cleveland, and Mary J. Blige as Dinah Washington.

The movie will hit theaters on August 13!
