Tom Holland Covers The New Issue Of Esquire

Tom Holland is on the cover of Esquire. The actor is on the cover of the magazine’s upcoming March 2021 issue to promote his new film, Cherry. Highlights from his interview are below.

On seeking his parents’ approval: “If I seek anyone’s approval, it would be my parents’,” he says. “That would be the highest level of achievement.”

On asserting his power as lead actor on the set of Spider-Man 3: “For the first time in my life, I put my foot down as the leading actor and was like, ‘I’m not f****** wearing that wig. You can just . . . I’m going to have shorter hair and you’re going to have to deal with it.’ ”

On the rumors regarding Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield appearing in Spider-Man 3: “No, no, they will not be appearing in this film. Unless they have hidden the most massive piece of information from me, which I think is too big of a secret for them to keep from me. But as of yet, no. It’ll be a continuation of the Spider-Man movies that we’ve been making.”
