Sabrina Carpenter has released a statement to her Instagram about her new song. The young singer recently released her new single, “Skin”, this past week and many listeners began to speculate that the song was a response to Olivia Rodrigo’s new single, “Driver’s License”.
Sabrina stated on her Instagram that the song was not a response or diss to Rodrigo’s creation and it was not written because she was “bothered” by her song. She went on to state that she wrote the song at a tipping point in her life and did what she always does in those types of situations, make music.
