Last Man Standing to Kick Off Final Season with Time Jump
It looks like Last Man Standing will be kicking off its final season with a time jump. The network revealed the show’s official logline today, November 10, and it revealed that the season premiere would pick up in the near future.
The logline officially reads, “After the events of the eighth season finale, during which Kristin (Fuller) went into labor with her baby daughter, while Mandy (McCook) was pregnant with her first child, the series will jump ahead into the near future, when Mike and his wife, Vanessa (Travis), will contemplate their own future, including Mike’s imminent retirement from his lifelong job at Outdoor Man – and who could be his successor.”
The new season will begin on January 3. One thing to note, is the press release for the new season did not list Kaitlyn Dever on it, so I am hoping she does indeed make an appearance this season.
