TBT to my FIRST time at the polls 🗳⭐️ (QUICK STORY)looking at my ballot for the 2018 primary election, I didn’t realize how many important decisions were being made on, what felt like, the small election that happens before primaries! The amount of research and note taking I had to do to understand what was on my ballot impressed upon me how EVERY election presents an important opportunity to shape our communities and often what we vote on down ballot is what directly impacts our daily lives- from our education systems to community safety. Our ballots may not provide the perfect solution, but they should always be used as a tool working ALONGSIDE/SUPPORTING the civic action we must take 365 days a year… and THIS upcoming election is no different! ⭐️ #VOTE

Yara Shahidi has joined the cast of Disney’s live action Peter Pan, Peter Pan and Wendy. Shahidi is set to play everyone’s favorite fairy, Tinkerbell.

She will join already announced cast members, Jude Law, who is set to play Captain Hook, Alexander Molony, who is set to play Peter, and Ever Anderson, who is set to play Wendy.

I am so excited to see her in this role!
