Selena Gomez is on the cover of Allure Magazine! The star is on the cover of the magazine’s upcoming October issue.
In the issue, Gomez talks her new beauty line, Rare, her time on the Disney Channel, being bipolar, discrimination, educating herself, her future, Living Undocumented, and so much more. Highlights can be found below.
On her new beauty line, Rare: “I had always wanted the name Rare. [The word] has become the identity of my brand and who I want to be, which is showing people that being diverse and different, whatever was happening, I wanted it to feel like you were included”.
On her years on the Disney Channel: “I think the female characters on Disney Channel have a lot of strength. And my comedic timing, my improv skills, everything I experienced made me a better actress.”
On learning more about being bipolar: “It was complicated. But I think I’m happy to understand it. Once I did find out more about who I was, I was proud. I also felt comfortable knowing that I wasn’t alone, and I was going to get through it. So I will always be passionate about that. It’s something I will continue to talk about.”
