Alan Menken Announces Name for Disney+ Gaston & LeFou Series

Alan Menken has revealed the title of Disney+’s upcoming Beauty and the Beast spin-off series. Based on Gaston and LeFou, the series is apparently called, Little Town.

Luke Evans and Josh Gad are set to reprise their roles as Gaston and LeFou. The series will be set in the world of the 2017 live action movie.

I can only assume that the title of the show comes from the lyrics in “Belle”. The song opens with Belle singing, “Little town, it’s a quiet village. Little Town, filled with little people waking up to say”.

No word on when the new series will premiere, but I for one am super excited to see the new series.
