The CW To Develop Superman & Lois Series

The CW is developing a new Superman show, titled Superman & Lois. This new series will be based on Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch’s versions of Clark Kent and Lois Lane, both key players in current Arrowverse.

According to TV Line, “…it will follow ‘the world’s most famous Super Hero and comic books’ most famous journalist’ as they ‘deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.’ The site goes on to say that “…Tyler Hoechlin, who originated the role of the Arrowverse’s Superman/Clark Kent on Supergirl, and Elizabeth Tulloch, who made her debut as Lois in last year’s ‘Elseworlds’ crossover event, will reprise their roles for the prospective new series.”

It is expected that a backdoor pilot will be done at some point next year ahead of the Upfronts, but nothing has been confirmed. However, both Hoechlin & Tulloch’s versions of the iconic couple will next be seen in the upcoming “Crisis On Infinite Earths” crossover event.
