Shay Mitchell Asks for Compassion After Revealing Miscarriage

Shay Mitchell made quite the reveal on her Instagram story earlier today, January 1. After sharing all the great things she got to do in 2018, she shared one piece of news that shook many of her fans.

The actress revealed that she suffered a miscarriage earlier this year. The star shares a lot of her life on social media, from her amazing trips to her career, that many fans were led to believe that everything was fine and dandy in Shay’s life. However, as we can see that was not true.

After the reveal, she asked her fans to be more compassionate with each other in 2019 because we never know what hardships a person may or may not be going through. People only let you see what they want you to see, so never assume that just because it looks perfect onscreen that everything is perfect.

Our hearts go out to Shay. It took a lot of courage to share this information with the world, but she did it so kudos to her!
