Disney Announces Cast for The Mandalorian

The cast for the first ever live action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian has been set. Pedro Pascal has been cast in the title role as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy.

Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte will join Perdo in the show. Bryce Dallas Howard and Taika Waititi are set to direct episodes, which will premiere on Disney’s new streaming series, Disney+ in 2019.
