Selena Gomez Hospitalized

Mood lol (I was looking at myself in the mirror -like an idiot!) Update: taking a social media break. Again. As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given. Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember- negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings. Obvi.

Selena Gomez was apparently hospitalized twice in the last two weeks after experiencing low white blood cell count. She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles by a family member.

According to TMZ, Selena was “despondent and emotional” but was released a few days after her first visit. She was re-admitted when the low blood cell count continued.

During her second hospitalization, Selena “insisted on leaving, but doctors said she couldn’t. We’re told Selena had ‘a meltdown’ and ‘freaked out.’ Selena tried ripping the IV’s out of her arm. Several sources called the episode ‘an emotional breakdown.'”

TMZ claims Selena is now at a East Coast psychiatric facility where she is supposedly receiving dialectical behavior therapy. Selena has been silent on her social media since September 23 when she shared she was taking a step back.

Thinking of Selena and hoping she feels better.
