The first clip from Elle Fanning and Logan Lerman’s new film The Vanishing of Sidney Hall has been released. The pair is joined by Kyle Chandler in this new indie from director Shawn Christensen.

In this new clip, Sidney contemplates why the strange girl across the street seems so familiar before plucking up the courage to ask her. Her answer is quite surprising for the young introvert.

Their new film will open in theaters and on DIRECTV on March 2.
