Selena Gomez & Francia Raísa Open Up About Their Kidney Transplant In New Clip From Their TODAY Interview

A clip from Selena Gomez and Francia Raísa interview with NBC News has been released. The pair sat down to discuss the recent kidney transplant they underwent. The pair took part in the life-saving surgery this past summer after doctors told Selena her kidney’s were failing from her battle with lupus.

According to Selena, Francia saved her life. She states, “Because she did. That’s it. I guess I got to the point where it was really kind of life or death.” She goes on to say, “My kidneys were just done. That was it and I didn’t want to ask a single person in my life,” she told Savannah. “And she volunteered and did it.”

Their full interview will air next week on TODAY.
