Miley Cyrus made a surprise appearance at Madison Square Garden tonight, September 30, in New York City. She joined Billy Joel, who was performing at the Garden, to sing his hit “New York State of Mind”.

Miley also performed with Paul Simon, who was Billy Joel’s special guest, during the show. Miley, Paul and Billy sang Billy Joel’s “You May Be Right”.

What an excellent surprise!
