Miley Cyrus covers the new issue of Billboard magazine! The singer talks to the mag about her new “countrified” sound, life with fiance, Liam Hemsworth, and more! Her new single, “Malibu” a theme-inspired track arrives May 11!
On talking to those with different opinions from her: “I like talking to people that don’t agree with me, but I don’t think I can do that in an aggressive way. I don’t think those people are going to listen to me when I’m sitting there in nipple pasties, you know?”
On her new record: “This record is a reflection of the fact that yes, I don’t give a fuck, but right now is not a time to not give a fuck about people. I’m giving the world a hug and saying, ‘Hey, look. We’re good — I love you.’ And I hope you can say you love me back.”
On not smoking weed currently: “It’s easy, dude. When I want something, it’s fucking easy for me. But if anyone told me not to smoke, I would have not done it. It’s because it was on my time. I know exactly where I am right now.”
