Brie Larson Covers The New Issue Of Vanity Fair

Brie Larson is on the cover of the newest issue of Vanity Fair magazine. The young actress is on the cover to promote her film Free Fire. Highlights are below.

On her love of film at an early age: “I would wear VHS tapes out,” she recalls. “One of them was Gone with the Wind. I would walk around the house going, ‘Ashley, Ashley.'”

On red carpets: “I’m trying to understand what my sense of style is now,. I still refuse to pay a lot for clothes.”

On deciding to play Captain Marvel: “It took me a really long time. I had to sit with myself, think about my life and what I want out of it. Ultimately, I couldn’t deny the fact that this movie is everything I care about, everything that’s progressive and important and meaningful, and a symbol I wished I would’ve had growing up. I really, really feel like it’s worth it if it can bring understanding and confidence to young women—I’ll do it.”
