Liam Hemsworth takes center stage in these new stills from Independence Day: Resurgence. Liam plays fighter pilot Jake Morrison in the sequel, which also stars Jeff Goldblum and Joey King.

In the movie, “Using recovered extraterrestrial technology, the nations of Earth collaborate on an immense defense program to protect the planet. When the aliens attack with unprecedented force, only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can save the world.”

Resurgence will be released on June 24. FYI! Liam will be a guest on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon this Monday, June 13.
