Best Dressed Females on TV 2016

The 2015-2016 TV season has come to end and the women of television brought it in the style department this year. We have selected our Top 5 Best Dressed females from this past TV season and it was not an easy task.

Our favorite newcomer was Supergirl’s Kara Danvers, played by Melissa Benoist. It didn’t matter if this character was rocking pants and a cardigan or a cute dress with an accessorizing belt, every outfit was cute and true to her personality. We definitely did some searching after each episode to try and track down some of her outfits for our own personal collection.

Biggest risktaker went to Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard) on Girl Meets World. We nicknamed her the mini Aria Montgomery (Pretty Little Liars) because sometimes her outfits were a little out there but she always stayed true to who Riley was (a bit eccentric with a big heart)!  We loved that the costume department was willing to take such risk.

Last Man Standing’s Mandy (Molly Ephraim) was our favorite fashionista this season. As a fashion designer on the show, it only made sense that her outfits were just as fashionable as her. The character tended to lean more towards the skirt and tucked in top combo, but it never became a tired look on her. She was always wearing colors and combos that one wouldn’t think would work together, but on her they did.

Troian Bellisario’s Spencer Hastings had the most evolved fashion this TV season. The 5 year forward jump really worked for Spencer as it allowed her to show off her trendy business look with awesome dresses and jackets. Her character’s style evolution on Pretty Little Liars, so far, as been our favorite. We can’t wait to see what she rocks in the seventh season.

Last but not least was The Flash’s Iris West (Candice Patton). This girl was an all around trendsetter this TV season. Every look was spot on and Iris’ personality shined through. It was very hard to narrow down which outfits to choose for the gallery because there were so many good ones to pick from. The costume department really hit the nail on the head with this character.
