Rose McIver has teamed with ChildFund NZ to help raise awareness and funds to expand a critical education program in war torn and tsunami battered Sri Lanka. Rose posted the above video to her Instagram page urging her followers to check out the charity organization and help with their cause.

Rose is currently enjoying some much needed downtime after wrapping filming on iZombie’s second season earlier this year. Last week, the actress was in New York City to attend the CW Upfront, where it was announced that her show would not air its third season until 2017.

I wish we didn’t have to wait so long for the next season. It was so nice to have it premiere in the Fall last year.
