The Chanels (Roberts, Breslin, Lourd): Following up on the season finale, the Chanels have been committed to mental institution, where they’ll be studying under their former nemesis Dean Munsch. “Things have been flipped around,” said Falchuk.

Hester (Michele): While Falchuk didn’t detail Hester (a.k.a. Chanel #6’s) role in the operations of the hospital, he said, “In this hospital, there’s some funny business going as well. There’s an aspect to this show that involves murder and a killer and in those ways Hester is going to be intimately involved.”

Zayday (Palmer): After graduating from Wallace University in two years, Zayday will be training to become a doctor under the supervision of Dean Munsch.

Dean Munsch (Curtis): After traveling the world in search of a new passion, Dean Munsch buys a hospital and will “run this hospital the way she sees fit.She will take on the cases no one else will take and the conditions everyone says are incurable,” said Falchuk, to which Curtis immediately added, “And fix the broken system!””

Denise (Nash): Denise is now a member of the FBI and will cross paths with the other characters when her expertise is needed to solve the worsening problems at the hospital.

Falchuk also confirmed the return of actor Glen Powell and the addition of three new characters, who he described as “stud-ly doctors.”
