Emily Bett Rickards, Brandon Routh and The Flash Cast Begin Work on The Flash 1×18

Arrow’s Emily Bett Rickards and Brandon Routh kicked off their first day on The Flash set today, February 2, in Vancouver. The duo is jumping shows for The Flash’s upcoming 18th episode.

The episode is called, “All-Star Team-Up,” and will see Felicity (Rickards) and Ray (Routh) traveling to Central City, where Ray will get a little more help with his Atom Suit from STAR Labs. Also, Felicity will help Barry (Grant Gustin) with some problems of his own.

The episode will air on the CW later this year. My guess is they are using this episode to test Brandon to see if he works well with The Flash cast. I would assume if the chemistry is there the writers can expand the Atom’s story on that show or on one of its own. We shall see!

However, one thing I do know is that I love how close The Flash and Arrow casts are. They always seem to be having a good time when they are working together.
