Vanessa Hudgens to play Rizzo in FOX’s GREASE!

Vanessa Hudgens has landed a new role! The Gigi star will take on the role of Rizzo in Fox’s LIVE version of Grease. Julianne Hough will play the lead female, Sandy.

The male roles in the live-action version of the Broadway show have yet to be cast. Vanessa spoke about the part saying, “Being Rizzo is something I’ve never imagined, and I love that because it will be a new challenge. She is such an iconic character that continues to transcend generations. I cannot wait to bring her to life on live television. I’m going to be a Pink Lady!”

Grease: Live will air on FOX on Sunday, January 31!
