Zendaya Covers Teen Vogue

Zendaya is on the cover of Teen Vogue magazine. The star is on the cover of the magazine’s the February 2015 issue.

In the issue, Zendaya talks her new show, K.C. Undercover, her music, her style, her best friend Trevor Jackson and so much more. Highlights can be found below.

On changing the original plan for K.C. Undercover: “It was going to be called Super Awesome Katy, but I changed it. I don’t look like a Katy, and I wanted something a little more mature. It wasn’t really right for the demographic that I’m trying to reach now.”

On her music: “I want to make R&B with a touch of pop, rather than pop with a touch of R&B. It’ll be a little more urban, something my fellow 18-year-olds are going to want to bump to in their cars rather than feel like they have to turn it down as soon as someone else gets in. I want them to be able to be like, ‘Yo, I’m listening to Zendaya!'”

On her best friend Trevor: “My best guy friend is Trevor Jackson. We met when we were 12 years old working on a Sears commercial. Everyone likes to make a bigger deal of what it is, but he’s my best friend and we’re always together. He knows what I’m going through. He’s not my boyfriend, but who knows what could happen in the future.”
