Miley Cyrus’s cover of Melanie Safka’s “Look What They’ve Done to My Song, Ma” has been released. The tune will be featured on the soundtrack to Free the Nipple.

The indie film will feature female activists who challenge censorship laws by going topless in public. Miley’s re-working of the song will run during the film’s credits.

This is the second cover Miley has done of this song. A previous cover was released in the Summer of 2012 as part of Miley’s Backyard Sessions.

I like how different this version is from the original and from Miley’s cover during the Backyard sessions!
