Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande attended the Billboard Women In Music Luncheon this afternoon, December 12, in New York City. The young ladies were joined by Beyonce, Idina Menzel, and Jessie J. for the annual event to honor women in music.
During the luncheon, Ariana took home the award for “Rising Star”, which was presented to her by her brother. Ingrid Michaelson performed a beautiful tribute to Taylor before Taylor accepted the award for Billboard’s Woman of The Year.
Taylor also received quite the surprise from the ladies as well! Aretha Franklin and the fellow honorees this year sang “Happy Birthday” to Taylor before presenting her with a cake.
Congrats to both Ariana and Taylor on their awards!
