Drop Everything Now

Andrew Garfield was notably absent from last night’s, March 2, Academy Awards show in Los Angeles. The star was suppose to be part of “a very moving moment in the show, which will illustrate the theme of how movies have inspired,” but did not show.

Instead, Chris Evans, who was not slated to attend the awards, apparently stepped in to take Andrew’s place. No reason was given for why Andrew did not attend the show, but Andrew’s stylist, Kyle Kagamida took to his Twitter to say personal reasons kept Andrew and his plus one, Emma Stone, from attending.

Kyle told a fan, “they [Andrew and Emma] had personal reasons to not attend. Andrew was supposed to present and he wouldn’t have missed unless it was necessary”.

I hope that the duo is doing okay. Whatever kept them from the show must have been pretty serious, so I really hope everything is okay!
