Won’t Be Another

Production on the new movie in the Divergent movie series, Insurgent is set to begin this Spring, but may be starting without a Director.

Variety is reporting, Neil Burger, who directed the series first movie, Divergent, will not be returning to film Insurgent. No reason has been given on why he is not returning, but the tight schedule may have something to do with it.

The movie is due out in theaters on March 20, 2015. Divergent will be released on March 21, 2014.

Summit also announced the release date of the last movie in the series, Allegiant. It will be released on March 18, 2016.
