The Witching Hour

Elizabeth Olsen has officially confirmed that she will be joined the cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Elizabeth will be playing the role of Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch in the Marvel sequel.

Elizabeth confirmed the news during the press junket for her latest project, Oldboy. Elizabeth spoke about working once again with her Godzilla costar Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who will be playing her twin Quicksilver.

In the interview she stated, “We get to play husband and wife, and we get to play twin brother and sister. It’s also fun because even though in ‘Godzilla’ we play husband and wife, we don’t have a lot of scenes together. I just love him. I love his family. I love his kids. I’m so excited…to actually work with each other. I think it’s going to be fun.”

Production on Avengers: Age of Ultron will take place early next year.
