Taylor Swift, One Direction, Carrie Underwood, Hunter Hayes and Ariana Grande has both been nominated for American Music Awards! This morning, October 10, Kelly Clarkson and will.i.am announced the nominees for this year’s show on Good Morning America.

Taylor has been nominated for “Artist of the Year”, “Favorite Album”, “Favorite Female Country Artist”, ‘Favorite Country Album”, and “Favorite Female Artist (Pop/Rock)”. Ariana was nominated for “New Artist of the Year”.

One Direction has been nominated for “Favorite Album” and “Favorite Group”, while Carrie and Hunter were nominated for “Favorite Female and Male Country Artist”.

More nominees will be announced as the day goes on. If any more of our favorite stars make the cut we will be sure to let you know!
