Samantha Barks has landed herself a new role. The young actress has joined the cast of Universal’s Dracula.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Barks will play a figure in Eastern European folk tales known as a baba yaga, a beautiful young woman who turns into a savage witch.” This new film is set to begin production in Belfast in August. Dracula will be released to theaters on August 8, 2014.
