I Will Carry You

Demi Lovato opened up to press about her recovery in this new video. The video was filmed yesterday, June 5, in Milan.

In the video, Demi talks about her recovery, her relationship with Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez, being confident in herself, and so much more. Demi is currently in Milan promoting her new album, DEMI.

Demi also recently chatted with Rolling Stone magazine about her past struggles. Demi told the magazine, “There were times where I was playing for thousands of people, and then I’d get on my tour bus, like, ‘What can’t you just be happy? What the f*ck is wrong with you? It was a relief to be like, ‘Oh, my God, it’s not me, it’s my brain.'”

She goes on to tell the magazine when she was 7, “The principal called my parents and made me sign this suicide contract saying that I would not kill myself. They weren’t expecting that so young.”

It is scary to think how long it took for Demi to finally receive treatment after recognizing the signals at such a young age. But I am glad that she got help and stuck with it. She is a stronger person now because of it!
