Hear Them Playing

Vanessa Hudgens recently spoke with Vanity Fair magazine about her new film, Spring Breakers. Highlights from the interview can be found below.

On her initial reaction to the project: “Excitement. I was so enthralled about the project. The idea of working with Harmony and James Franco in this character, it was a monumental piece of art, I thought. It was thrilling.”

On whether or not she would participate in her own spring break: “Definitely not. [Laughs.] I’m way more tame than my character, and my idea of fun is way different. But it was fun to experience it and be surrounded by real spring-breakers. And we fed off that frantic energy; it added an authenticity to the film.”

On her role in Machete Kills: “I have a tiny, little cameo. I play Cereza, the virgin bride. But things don’t turn out well for her, unfortunately. It was fun.”
