Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood have both been nominated for the 2012 American Country Awards. The nominees were announced today, October 10.

Taylor is nominated for five awards. She was nominated for Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year-Female, Single of the Year-Female for “Ours”, Touring Artist of the Year, and Music Video-Female for “Ours”.

Carrie is nominated for 4 awards. She was nominated for Artist of the Year-Female, Single of the Year-Female for “Good Girl”, Single of the Year-Vocal Collaboration for “Remind Me” with Brad Paisley, and Music Video-Female for “Good Girl”.
