Dakota Fanning was seen doing a little shopping in Los Angeles today, August 23. She was joined by a friend on her shopping excursion.

Dakota, who recently wrapped her new film Very Good Girls, is celebrating the final days of summer before she has to return back to New York University for her sophomore year. It must be nice to start school after Labor Day!
