Kevin McHale is being considered for the role of host on the X Factor. TV Guide is reporting that the Glee star is being considered for the role.

The show is looking for a male and female to host the show this season, but  “Gleeks can rest assured that it will not affect his [Kevin] role on Glee when it returns for a fourth season on Thursday, September 13.”

I am going to guess this is why FOX had Kevin host the Teen Choice Awards with already X Factor judge Demi Lovato. To see if he had what it takes to host a show.
