Nick Jonas is apparently in talks to be a judge on American Idol. Mariah Carey was just named a new judge for the show, which is going into its 12th season.

US Weekly is reporting the “‘Who I Am’ singer Nick Jonas, 19, and N.E.R.D. rapper Pharrell Williams, 39, are the frontrunners to fill the two vacant seats at the judges’ table”.

They go on to say, “Nick is pretty close to signing to be the Idol judge, They flew him in to L.A. last week for final meetings.”
