X Factor judge L.A. Reid opened up about his new co-judge Demi Lovato at the Art for Life event this past Saturday, July 28.

This is what Reid had to say,”You know Demi is really smart and knowledgeable for someone [who’s] 19 years old. She’s amazingly smart, she does a great job judging and she’s really funny. I forget that she’s 19 most of the time because she’s so witty and so funny.”

The new season of the X Factor will air on FOX starting September 12!
