Emma Watson has confirmed that she will indeed be starring in Sofia Coppola’s new movie The Bling Ring.

Yesterday, February 29, we reported Sofia has tapped Emma for the role, but nothing was confirmed yet. Today, March 1, Emma took to her official website to announce the news.

“I am so excited to work with Sofia Coppola. I have been an admirer of her work for many years. The script for ‘The Bling Ring’ is fantastic and I can’t wait to start filming“.
