Another new featurette from Black Panther has been released. This featurette introduces fans to the amazing warriors of Wakanda.

“Marvel Studios’ Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. New Sneak Peek from Black Lightning Released

A brand new sneak peek from the series premiere of Black Lightning has been released. Entitled, “Resurrection”, the episode will air this coming Tuesday, January 16.

Tomorrow, January 13, the cast will be in Washington, D.C. to premiere their new series. The premiere will take place at the National Museum of African American History and Culture during the first ever DC in DC 2018.

Watch a Brand New Trailer for Krypton

A promo for the series premiere of Krypton has been released. Cameron Cuffe stars as the grandfather to the legendary DC Comics character, Superman.

In the series, “What if Superman never existed? Set two generations before the destruction of Superman’s home planet, “Krypton” follows Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), the legendary Man of Steel’s grandfather, who is faced with a life and death conflict – save his home planet or let it be destroyed in order to restore the fate of his future grandson. With Krypton’s leadership in disarray and the House of El ostracized, Seg finds himself in a difficult position. He must redeem his family’s honor and protect the ones he loves while being challenged by familiar DC characters Brainiac (Blake Ritson) and Earthly time-traveler Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos).”

The series will premiere this coming March.

Jefferson Shows Off his Powers in New Sneak Peek from Black Lightning

A brand new sneak peek from the series premiere of Black Lightning has been released. The sneak peek features Jefferson showing off his powers after getting roughed up by the police.

In the premiere, “Jefferson Pierce made his choice: he hung up the suit and his secret identity years ago, but with one daughter hell-bent on justice and the other a star student being recruited by a local gang, he’ll be pulled back into the fight as the wanted vigilante and DC legend Black Lightning.”

The series will premiere on the CW next Tuesday, January 16! Is it Tuesday yet?!

Watch the CW’s “Super Season” Extended Promo

The CW has released an extended promo for their upcoming “Super Season”. Starting January 15, all their superhero shows will return with brand new episodes.

One big difference about this promo compared to the shorter one released is the appearance of Black Lightning. Black Lightning is the CW’s newest series that will premiere on January 16.

The Cast of Black Lightning Attend the CW’s Winter TCA Event

The cast of Black Lightning attended the CW’s Winter TCA event today, January 6 in Los Angeles. Cress Williams, Nafessa Williams, China Anne McClain, James Remar, Damon Gupton, Christine Adams and Marvin Jones III were all on hand to promote the show at the critic event.

Next weekend, the cast will be in Washington, D.C. for WBTV’s DC in DC 2018 event. The cast will take part in a number of panel discussions and they will attend the premiere of their show on Saturday, January 13.

The show will premiere on the network on January 16. Almost a week away people! Get ready!

Things Look Bleak in New Photos from Black Lightning “LaWanda: The Book of Hope”

Promo photos from Black Lightning 1×02 have been released. The episode is called, “LaWanda: The Book of Hope” and it will air on Tuesday, January 23.

No word on what the episode will be about, but we can tell you that the new series will premiere on the CW on January 16. The cast will attend the premiere of their new show in Washington, D.C. next Saturday, January 13.

Even more photos from the series premiere of Black Lightning have been released. The new superhero series stars Cress Williams, Nafessa Williams and China Anne McClain.

Entitled, “The Resurrection”, “Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) is a man wrestling with a secret. As the father of Anissa (Nafessa Williams) and Jennifer (China Ann McClain), and principal of a charter high school that also serves as a safe-haven for young people in a neighborhood overrun by gang violence, he is a hero in his community. Nine years ago, Pierce was a hero of a different sort.

Gifted with the superhuman power to harness and control electricity, he used those powers to keep his hometown streets safe as the masked vigilante Black Lightning, but he left the Superhero days behind. Almost a decade later, Pierce’s crime-fighting days are long behind him — or so he thought.”

The show will premiere on the CW on January 16!

A brand new poster for the CW’s new show, Black Lightning has been released. The poster features Nafessa Williams suiting up as Thunder.

The CW has alsoo released a brand new interview with Nafessa’s onscreen sister, China Anne McClain. The interview features new footage from the show, so watch at your own risk.

Black Lightning will premiere on January 16!

Pop-Up Shop to Open Outside of Newseum for DC in DC 2018 Event

WBTVG and DC Entertainment are sponsoring a limited-time DC in D.C. Pop-Up Shop in Washington, D.C. The pop-up will appear on Friday, January 1 and run through Sunday, January 14.

Located in front of the Newseum, the heated store will feature “a DC merchandise shop, charging stations a free Jitters coffee bar, and interactive displays covering the history of DC — from its earliest origins to the television powerhouses that those Super Heroes represent today.”
