So happy cto finally share this! My @cultured_mag February/March cover, shot by my big sister, teacher and favorite artist @alia_pop, styled by my day one. @chrishoran20. It’s felt at times hard to navigate having to be visible during what feels like such formative and private years of my life, and this shoot felt like a wonderful celebration of the autonomy I feel in at least in my body now, thank you so much Alia, @chrishoran20, @claytonhawkins, and @danadelaney for contributing to that. Thank you to the sweetest @devan_diaz whose writing I’ve been a reader of for so long for writing the cover story. Thank you @cultured_mag for being the vessel for and working with us on these special pictures! I love you @alia_pop 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 wearing the most luscious @christopherjohnrogers 🎖

Rowan Blanchard is on the cover of the February/March issue of Cultured magazine has been released. The young actress was photographed by her dear friend, Alia Penner, and styled by Chris Horan. Highlights from her interview are below.

On her style: “The world might be ending, but I’m young, and wanting to dress super early-2000s coincides with a new ownership of my body. It’s the first time I’ve been able to do that, coming out of being seen as a child activist for years.”

On living in New York City: “I want to be here. I want to walk down the street, I want to pass people, I want to get on the train. It’s all I’ve been doing here, and I know I’ll be thinking about it when I leave. I’ve always been obsessed with the image of the busy New York woman, like Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. That’s New York! You live in your apartment, your nights are crazy, and you wear looks and it’s glamorous.”
